The monthly magazine "Golf Européen" issues a classification of the French best golf courses, by league, in December 2005. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, the Moliets golf course has been elected “Best Aquitaine golf course” - all categories - just before the Chiberta golf course(n°2) and Seignosse (n°3).

The Moliets golf course has been marked n°1 for its lay out, n° 2 just behind Chiberta for the quality of the environment and finally n°3 for the greenkeeping quality behind Biarritz and Hossegor.
